An Adam Lambert Album Update: “There Will Be Music Out This Year”
Adam Lambert has been unusually quiet since dropping “Two Fux” last year, but The Glamorous One is chipping away at album four. He gave fans a progress report during an impromptu Twitter Q&A last night (February 13). “I have been working really hard on it!” the “Ghost Town” hitmaker revealed. “The album is gonna be yummy!” It turns out he has already recorded several dozen tracks, but still doesn’t have the single pinned down. “Probably written about 35ish,” Adam tweeted. “Not far enough in the process to pick a single. Still lots to be done.”
While there’s no official release date, we shouldn’t have too long to wait. “There will be music out this year,” the 36-year-old promised. “That I know.” And what can we expect sound-wise? “It’s basically all of my influences rolled into my own special blend.” That works for me! Three years have passed since Adam released The Original High in 2015. Since then, he has dropped a couple of stand-alone singles and toured the world with Queen.
